PDP theory
Most assistants either forget everything or remember everything equally. Neither builds a personality. PDP treats memory the way a person does: write when something surprises you, then sleep on it.
During the day the agent writes a memory only when an outcome breaks its expectation. At night a maintenance pass merges, condenses and retires notes. Over weeks, what is left shapes how the agent responds.
